What if all there is, is this? Mindfulness and Non-Duality

I’ll be sharing an update on the ‘Coming to Our Senses’ course for Mindfulness in Wales at an online meeting at 7pm on the 23rd May 2024. You can find more information and book a free ticket here

Here’s the description of the event -

In a new creative mindfulness course called ‘Coming to Our Senses’ Iwan Brioc explores a different approach to teaching mindfulness.

'Coming to Our Senses' is informed by Iwan’s background in applied and experimental theatre and his ‘understanding’ of non-duality. Currently, in its pilot phase with NHS staff whose attendance is as time allows, there are tentative yet hopeful signs of its positive impact on mental health.

Iwan says "How is this course different from the current curricula based on MBSR? Why might there be a need to change how we teach mindfulness? Has mindfulness, by understandably being strictly secular, thrown the baby out with the bathwater? I look forward to delving into these questions and hearing your thoughts as we meet."

Mindfulness Wales continues to explore ways in which we can enhance the mindfulness we offer across sectors in Wales. You can join our mailing list and access our previous sessions here https://mindfulness-wales.org
