The Rainbow of Desires

The rainbow reveals how white light is made up of different colours combined. Each of us too is fragmented by our different and sometimes conflicting beliefs and desires. This workshop, 7 hours a day, for five days, will utilize Augusto Boal’s techniques for working with introverted oppressions: those ‘cops in the head’ which stop us realizing our full capacity. Through the prism of theatre we will explore the different elements of our personality and perhaps re-arrange them better to meet our needs.

Each day we will prepare for and then practice one technique from this powerful armoury with an emphasis on how we can work better with our colleagues, friends and family and how the insight gained from these techniques can be brought into everyday situations so that we can start to remove the obstacles to being all that we can be.

Workshops will be fun and energising as well as a powerful learning experience.
